Radio frequency radiation (RFR) is not a new thing for us. It is a non-ionizing radiation which means it does not have an energy to remove electrons from an atom. The radiation is lower than visible light and infrared (another type of non-ionizing radiation), but it has higher energy than extremely low-frequency (ELF) radiation. Radio wave, microwaves, and 5G are the examples of RFR.
5G (fifth generation of wireless radiation)
Some scientists blamed the 5G (fifth generation of wireless radiation) as the precursor of COVID-19 pandemic. Wuhan, a well known biotech city in China, implemented 5G before the COVID-19 outbreak. England where the VOC (Variant of Concern) B.1.1.7 first detected in September 2020, officially implemented 5G at the end of May 2019. South Africa where the VOC B.1.351 first detected in October 2020, launched the 5G in May 2020. Brazil launched 5G services in limited areas in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in July 2020, the VOC P.1 was first detected in November 2020. India where VOC B.1.617.2 was first detected in December 2020, has not launched it's 5G.
Martin L. Pall, Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry and Basic Medical Sciences at Washington State University, is a well known name in alarming the bioeffects of Electromagnetic field (EMF) and 5G. He predicted the bioeffects of 5G as:
- massive impacts on male reproduction,
- universal or near universal very early onset Alzheimer’s dementia (AD),
- universal or near universal autism,
- very high levels of germ line mutations caused by the impact of 5G radiation acting via VGCC activation on the DNA of human sperm and on the DNA of human oocytes.
A study in Australia, enhanced 3G and later 4G antennas were put in place and activated. There were very large effects of the enhanced 3G & 4G antennas on insects, birds, mammals, amphibia and plants. The 5G system is designed to work with 4G as essential part of the system. One of the effects of EMF in plants are causing plants to produce very high amounts highly volatile and highly flammable terpenes which causes the plants to become highly flammable.
Beverly Rubik and Robert R. Brown, 2021, in their research paper summarized the bioeffects of RFR exposure in relation to COVID-19 manifestations and their progression in a table.
They quoted the work of Tsiang and Havas that COVID-19 during the first wave in USA, COVID-19 attributed cases and deaths were higher in states with 5G infrastructure compared with states that didn’t yet have 5G.
Rubik and Brown concluded that RFR and, in particular, 5G, which involves 4G infrastructure have impacts on COVID-19 prevalence and severity by weakening host immunity and increasing SARS-CoV-2 virulence:
- causing morphologic changes in erythrocytes including echinocyte (spiky red blood cells) and rouleaux formation (stacked blood cells) that may be contributing to hypercoagulation,
- impairing microcirculation and reducing erythrocyte and hemoglobin levels exacerbating hypoxia,
- amplifying immune system dysfunction, including immunosuppression, autoimmunity, and hyperinflammation,
- increasing cellular oxidative stress and the production of free radicals exacerbating vascular injury and organ damage,
- augmenting intracellular Ca2+ essential for viral entry, replication, and release, in addition to promoting proinflammatory pathways,
- worsening heart arrhythmias and cardiac disorders.
Hypocalcemia is a condition where blood has low calcium. It is highly prevalent in COVID-19 hospitalized and unhospitalized patients. It was also associated with higher mortality and poor clinical outcome in hospitalized and critically ill patients. SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, and Ebolavirus patients also show the sign of hypocalcemia. Calcium directly interacted with fusion peptides of the viruses promoting their replication. Therefore 5G can enhance the severity of COVID-19 through giving an extra calcium for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that cause COVID-19.
SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein and Moderate Electric Fields
Arbeitman et al. 2021 wrote that extremely intense of EFs (Electric Fields) of strengths larger than 1Volt per nanometre can denature entire proteins and even break chemical bonds. They showed via molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, that the application of relatively low to moderate static EFs can persistently change both the secondary and tertiary structures of S by rearranging and reorienting residues, thus disordering originally ordered segments through breaking and rebuilding of hydrogen bonds and salt-bridges. Disruption of the secondary structure of S (RBM), occurs under notoriously weaker EFs than those needed to produce significant changes in other protein.
A hope from this research is that the parts of S protein that allow the virus the avoid the antibody, are particularly unprotected to EFs including some mutations affecting RBD of VOCs from UK, South Africa, and Brazil.
